The Robot Albatros line is a tribute to Czech aviation and honors the iconic Aero L-39 trainer jet, designed in the 1960s by engineer Jan Vlček. This aircraft became the most widely used jet trainer in the world and gained popularity among aerobatic teams for its outstanding maneuverability.
The dial design, inspired by the aircraft's instrument panel, and details such as yellow indices and an engraved outline of the jet, reflect the rich history of Czech aviation. These pilot watches, equipped with a hand-wound movement, impress not only with their technical craftsmanship but also with their distinctive aesthetic.
The Albatros model blends Czech technical heritage with precision watchmaking. The case is made of 904L stainless steel and fitted with a sapphire crystal featuring ARunic anti-reflective coating. The watch is powered by a specially crafted La Joux-Perret FS10 movement, made exclusively for Robot, with an 8-day power reserve and decorated using the Vernissage technique.
