The MeisterSinger Bell Hora BHO908 watch belongs to the Meisterstücke series and offers an unconventional but all the more interesting display of the time using a single hand. Fans of quality watchmaking and unconventional solutions will definitely enjoy this one.
The Bell Mountain model revives a virtually forgotten "Sonnerie au passage" complication. At precisely the hour, the hammer strikes the spiral, producing a gentle "clink" that alerts the wearer to the passage of time without having to look at the dial. In keeping with the MeisterSinger philosophy, there is only one chime, regardless of the time. This does not force the watch owner to count the number of times, but only alerts him to the start of a new hour. The chiming can also be switched off by means of a button above the crown.
The case of the MeisterSinger Bell Hora BHO908 MasterSinger Bell Hora BHO908 is made of stainless steel and inside it ticks a mechanical MS Bell self-winding movement. Its base is the Swiss Sellita SW200 movement. This machine operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour and the winding reserve is 38 hours. The dial, like the whole model, has a light retro touch and, of course, its excellent workmanship. Thanks to the typical minute scale, you can count on perfect clarity even though the time is displayed with only one hand. The white numbers contrast effectively with the blue dial with its sunburst effect. The colour thus varies from light blue to almost black in response to the incident light.
The crystal of the MeisterSinger Bell Hora BHO908 is sapphire, offering maximum possible protection against scratches. The water resistance of this model is 50 m (5 bar), so it can withstand basic water contact such as rain or showers. The elegance of this watch is underlined by the use of a high quality leather strap.
