The Maurice Lacroix 1975 Legacy Limited Edition 756108-S1S12-730-7 men's Swiss watch, part of the 1975 collection, features a subtle and elegant design and a versatile size. Thanks to these features, they are suitable for both everyday wear and formal occasions.
Maurice Lacroix was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Saignelégier, a small village nestled in the heart of the Franches-Montagnes. The natural beauty of this region has had a positive influence on the company’s watches throughout its history. Now, to commemorate this historic milestone, Maurice Lacroix has created a limited-edition model of 888 pieces that pays tribute to its home, the green landscape of the Swiss canton of Jura.
The Maurice Lacroix 1975 756108-S1S12-730-7 features a stainless steel case paired with a brown leather strap with a folding clasp. Inside the case, the Swiss-made ML155 self-winding mechanical movement operates reliably, and its operation can be observed through the transparent case back. This movement is based on the reliable Sellita SW300, operates at a frequency of 28,800 half-vibrations per hour, and features 25 jewels. The power reserve is up to 56 hours. The automatic winding rotor is adorned with vertical Geneva stripes (Côtes de Genève). In addition to the date display, the movement also features a “hacking” function (stopping the seconds hand during time setting) and the option of manual winding via the crown.
The dial pays homage to its place of origin with the distinctive Vagues du Jura motif. This intricate pattern, unique to the Maurice Lacroix brand, depicts the undulating hills above the manufactory. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating that highlights the richly textured surface of the dial. This model is water-resistant to 100 meters, so it can withstand everyday contact with water such as hand washing, rain, showering, or even shallow swimming.

The Swiss brand Maurice Lacroix is relatively young, it was founded in 1974, but today it is among the top brands. For the Pontos Décentrique GMT with all indicators located off-center, the brand won the prestigious RED DOT award for best design in 2007. Another RED DOT went to the all-gold Masterpiece Squelette two years later.
