Men's Swiss Maurice Lacroix 1975 Vagues du Jura Limited Edition 756108-SS001-430-4 watches belonging to the 1975 series are characterized by their understated and elegant appearance and universal size. These features make it suitable for everyday wear as well as for company.
Founded in 1975, Maurice Lacroix is based in Saignelégier, a small village located in the heart of Franches-Montagnes. The natural beauty of the region has had a positive influence on the company's watches throughout its history. Now, to commemorate this historic milestone, Maurice Lacroix has created a limited edition model of 888 pieces that pays tribute to its home, the verdant landscape of the Swiss canton of Jura.
The Maurice Lacroix 1975 756108-SS001-430-4 watch has a case made of stainless steel, which is complemented by a black leather strap with a fold-over clasp. Inside the case, a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding ML155 works reliably, the work of which can be observed through the transparent caseback. It is based on the reliable Sellita SW300 movement, runs at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour and has 25 jewels. The winding reserve is the standard 42 hours. The automatic winding rotor is decorated with vertical Geneva stripes (Côtes de Genève). In addition to the date display, the machine also has a "hacking" function (stopping the second hand when ordered) and the option of manual winding by crown.
The dial pays tribute to its place of origin with the characteristic Vagues du Jura motif. This intricate pattern, which is unique to the Maurice Lacroix brand, depicts the rolling hills above the manufacture. In addition, the Manufacture delved into its archives and discovered a historic colour from the past, Saignelégier Blue, a shade that now returns in this limited edition watch.
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating highlighting the richly textured dial surface. The water resistance of this model is 100m, so it can handle normal contact with water such as hand washing, rain, showers or even surface swimming.

The Swiss brand Maurice Lacroix is relatively young, it was founded in 1974, but today it is among the top brands.
