The German Laco Köln Grau 862192 is a modern interpretation of the traditional pilot's watch, based on the classic A-type pilot's design. It combines a sporty character with the aesthetics of a professional instrument watch.

The 41 mm case is made of stainless steel. Its dark sandblasted surface gives a technical look and minimizes glare. In addition, it is more resistant to mechanical stress and abrasion and refers to the distinctive look of the traditional Laco pilot's watch.
The watch is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with ceramic insert. The case is complemented by a strap made of high-tech Fibertech material, which is both water-resistant and very comfortable to wear. It is finished with a dark thorn buckle, matching the colour of the case. With a width of 20 mm and a well-designed shape, the watch fits perfectly on the wrist.

The perfectly clear matte black dial is complemented by bold Arabic numerals and indices with a touch of Superluminova C1 luminescence, also found on the thermal blue hands. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. Sapphire is also used for the transparent caseback through which the automatic movement is visible.

The Laco Köln Grau is powered by the Laco 200 self-winding mechanical movement (based on the Sellita SW200-1 in the Elaboré version with an accuracy of +/- 14 s/day), with a power reserve of around 40 hours. With a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, the movement offers a crown winding option and a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking).

The 200 m (20 ATM) water resistance of the watch is supported by a screw-down crown at the 4th position, ensuring reliability even in harsh conditions.

The watch is not only a tribute to the history of pilot's watches, but proof that even the classics can be modern and ready for today's world.
