Launched in 1957, the original Ventura made watchmaking history as the world's first battery-powered electric watch. Creating an automatic version of a watch that became famous for its battery-powered movement is a bold move that is typical of Hamilton. So how to improve on an icon? Go big or go home! The XXL proportions of this model are as bold as they are elegant. And the red accents on the dial and second hand add a fiery touch.
The Hamilton Ventura XXL Automatic Skeleton H24655331 men's watch offers a novel design that makes it a fitting addition to a shirt or suit. Its timelessness, however, makes it an ideal accessory for every day.
The detailed dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. The anti-reflective coating guarantees excellent legibility even in the harsh sunlight. The watch case is made of stainless steel and the watch stays on the hand thanks to a well-crafted black rubber strap with a silver thorn buckle.
Inside the case, the Swiss mechanical movement H-10 (based on ETA C07.611 built on ETA 2824-2) with automatic winding works reliably. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour and features 25 jewels and, most importantly, an extended power reserve of 80 hours.
The water resistance of the watch is 50 m (5 ATM), so it can handle basic contact with water, such as rain or a shower.
