Launched in 1957, the original Ventura made watchmaking history as the world's first battery-powered electric watch. Creating an automatic version of a watch that became famous for its battery-powered movement is a bold move that is typical of Hamilton. So how to improve on an icon? Go big or go home! The XXL proportions of this model are as bold as they are elegant.
The Hamilton Ventura XXL Automatic Skeleton H24625330 men's watch offers a novel design that makes it a fitting addition to a shirt or suit. Its timelessness, however, makes it an ideal accessory for every day.
The detailed dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. The anti-reflective coating guarantees excellent legibility even in the harsh sunlight. The watch case is made of stainless steel and the watch stays on the hand thanks to a well-crafted black rubber strap with a silver thorn buckle.
Inside the case, the Swiss mechanical movement H-10-S (built on ETA ETA C07.611 built on ETA 2824-2) with automatic winding works reliably. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour and features 25 stones and, most importantly, an extended running reserve of 80 hours.
The water resistance of the watch is 50 m (5 ATM), so it can handle basic contact with water, such as rain or a shower.
The original rubber strap on this model is marked H6002461021.
