The EDOX Hydro-Sub Date Automatic Chronometer 80128-37NLNM-NLN is the rebirth of the iconic Edox model.

Six decades after it captivated the watch industry, the Edox Hydro-Sub is making a spectacular return. Now in a limited LabelNoir edition.

The limited edition Hydro-Sub automatic chronometer is new, improved and with clever 21st century features - but still incorporates the timelessly cool DNA of the original Hydro-Sub model from the 1960s that helped make Edox the "Water Champion" of the watch industry. Only 140 of this limited model are made for the entire world.

As with the original model, the water resistance is 300m (30ATM). The innovations that made the original Hydro-Sub so impressive, such as the screw-down crown with double O-ring, have been retained and even improved upon. The unidirectional rotating lunette is made of scratch-resistant ceramic.

The 2.5mm-thick sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures a crystal-clear view of the dial, which is essential when diving. The unmistakable lines of the original 1965 watch have been transferred to the EDOX Hydro-Sub Date Automatic Chronometer 80128-37NLNM-NLN Limited Edition. The watch hands are coated with a layer of Super-LumiNova, a luminescent material made in Switzerland that ensures maximum visibility underwater or in low light conditions.

The design of this model is clean and practical, focusing on the essentials and eliminating unnecessary "clutter".

The solid steel bracelet is very similar to the original model. However, even the steel bracelet has been improved here, the matte satin links are more precisely aligned and have a smoother surface, ensuring a perfect fit on the wrist.

The movement used in the watch is chronometer-certified and thus meets exacting standards of precision and accuracy. Each Calibre 806 movement, which is based on the Sellita SW200, meets the strict conditions set by the Swiss chronometer testing body COSC, a non-profit Swiss watchmaking body. Each certified chronometer movement is marked with a number engraved on the movement.

The hand-assembled EDOX Hydro-Sub Date Automatic Chronometer 80128-37NLNM-NLN combines practical functionality, technical excellence and clean, refined vintage design.

The watch is capable of handling any situation on land, in the air and at sea and has great legibility even in the most extreme conditions.
