50 years ago, EDOX launched the legendary SkyDiver, a rugged sports watch created specifically for an elite military group. Over the past few years, the SkyDiver collection has undergone a transformation into the Neptunian collection - a line of extremely durable diving watches. The new Neptunian Grande Réserve models take this collection to a whole new level.
At the heart of the Neptunian Grande Réserve models beats the new Calibre 808 (La Joux-Perret G100), a self-winding mechanical movement that boasts a generous 68-hour power reserve. This allows wearers to leave the watch aside for the weekend without having to set it up on Monday. Among other things, the watch has a handy date function at the 3 o'clock position.
In addition to these improvements, these new models also offer a slightly smaller case (42 mm) while maintaining a strong but comfortable look on the wrist. The case and bracelet of the watch are made of 316L stainless steel.
Made from the same DNA as the original rugged Neptunian models, the new Neptunian Grande Réserve models also feature a scratch-resistant rotating ceramic lunette and a 3mm thick sapphire crystal to ensure the dial retains its original look for many years.
The water resistance of the EDOX Skydiver Neptunian Grande Reserve 80801-3BBUM-BUCDN up to 300m/30 ATM is supported by the screw-down crown and Super-LumiNova x1 covering the hands and indices, it is designed to excel in and out of the water.
The watch face features the god of the sea, Neptune, with his iconic trident.
