The Citizen Promaster Marine Diver Eco-Drive BN0266-07E watch is the ideal choice for both active athletes and everyday wear. The watch stands out not only for its “diver’s” look but also for features such as Eco-Drive, which powers the watch using light energy.This eliminates the need to replace the battery.
The Citizen Promaster Marine Diver Eco-Drive BN0266-07E features a stainless steel case and a rubber strap. Inside the case lies the in-house Citizen E118 movement, which features a light-charged battery with a power reserve of up to 1 year, as well asa low-battery indicator. Another practical feature is the date window at the traditional 3 o’clock position. This model’s easy-to-read dial is protected by a sapphire crystal that offers maximum scratch resistance. An anti-reflective coating ensures excellent readability even in bright sunlight.
The watch is water-resistant to 200 m, making it suitable for use in water, including swimming and diving. Water resistance is enhanced by a screw-down crown and compliance with the ISO 6425 diving standard. Better readability in low-light conditions is ensured by luminescent coating applied to the hour markers and hands.
The watch meets the ISO 6425 diving standard, which allows it to bear the “Diver’s” designation on the dial. Such watches must be water-resistant to at least 100 meters, and they must be tested at a pressure of 125% of the declared water-resistance rating (i.e., a watch rated at 200 m according to ISO 2281 is tested only at 200 m, while a diver’s watch according to ISO 6425 must be tested at a pressure equivalent to 250 m) and must also meet other requirements. For example, tests include decompression, corrosion resistance, resistance to magnetic fields, and shock resistance. They must also feature a unidirectional rotating bezel, luminescence, etc.
