The top-of-the-line Citizen Promaster Aqualand 40th Anniversary Limited Edition JP2008-06E is part of the world-renowned Promaster series, featuring multi-purpose watches equipped with outstanding functions. It wins its owners especially with its equipment and high durability. This model was produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the launch of the original Citizen Aqualand in 1985. It was the first Citizen dive watch with an electronic depth gauge. This limited edition was produced in only 5,800 pieces for the entire world.
The Citizen JP2008-06E watch is destined for underwater use thanks to its features and functions. The watch has an unusual "diver" look, dominated by excellent clarity. Readability in the dark is ensured by strong luminescence on the hands and dots, as well as on the entire dial. Inside the PVD-treated stainless steel case (IP method) we find the Citizen C520 movement, which has functions such as a depth gauge, indication of the maximum depth reached (in the range of 1-80 metres), a low battery indicator, and a unidirectional rotatable diving lunette. An important function is also the rapid ascent alarm, which warns of too high a surfacing speed, or the dive length and abnormal depth alarm. You can also use the information about the number of dives (1-4), the start and end time of the dive, or the day and month of the dive. The watch also has a stopwatch function with 1/100 s accuracy, an alarm, and a complete calendar. This model is also ISO 6425 compliant, which is evident from the "DIVERS" inscription on the dial.
The dial of this model is protected by a mineral crystal, and it stays on the hand thanks to the practical rubber strap. The water resistance of this model is 200 m (20 ATM), so the watch is designed for most water activities, including diving. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown. The case size is 44 mm, so it will fit most men's wrists.

The Citizen Aqualand was launched in 1985 as the first Citizen watch with a digital depth gauge. The Aqualand was one of the last dive watches used by real divers as their main instrument for timekeeping and depth measurement. After that, dive watches were in practice replaced by dive computers and the watch was used more as a backup device. This limited edition was produced in only 5,800 pieces for the whole world.
