The sporty and elegant Bulova Super Seville Precisionist 97B237 watch catches the eye at first glance, especially with its case shape with a slight retro touch of the 1970s and a distinctive scalloped lunette. Yet it offers a timeless look and features that make it a suitable accessory for virtually any occasion.
Once again, Bulova has reached into its archives and prepared a surprise for all watch fans in the form of a revival of its classic 1970s model, the Super Seville Day Date model with a TV-shaped case. It has fitted the current version with its high-frequency movements with smooth running seconds, high precision and greater resistance to the effects of temperature.
The green cut dial, which underlies the applied indices at the hour positions, is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. In addition to the dial itself, the scalloped bezel is an unmistakable feature that adds a touch of elegance to the watch. On the golden hands and dots at the hour indexes we find luminescence, making it easier to read the time in low light conditions.
The watch is powered by a powerful Ultra High Frequency quartz (UHF) movement operating at 262 kHz. This is eight times higher than conventional quartz movements (32768 Hz). As a result, it achieves high precision operation. Another interesting feature is the smooth running of the seconds hand, which is typical of mechanical movements. The movement is equipped with a date function at the 3 o'clock position. A magnifying loupe (cyclops) ensures better legibility.
The case is complemented by an integrated steel bracelet, tapering towards the clasp, both with gold IP finish. The watch is water-resistant to 30 m, so it can handle normal contact with water during hand washing and rain. The size of the TV-shaped case is 38 mm, making the watch suitable for both men's and women's wrists.

The story of the Bulova brand begins in 1875 and has its roots in Bohemia. The founder was a Czech native Josef Bulova, who founded the J. Bulova Company in New York.
