Baume & Mercier Riviera Flyback Chronograph 10828 is a limited edition of the iconic, sporty and elegant model from the Riviera collection, celebrating 1973, the year the collection was launched. The watch comes in a scaled-down version, enhanced by the popular stopwatch function with sub-dial layout in the bicompax version. The Deisgn reflects the original model, behind which is none other than Gérald Genta.

With the Baume & Mercier Riviera Flyback Chronograph 10828 , a movement with a flyback chronograph function returns to the Riviera range after many years. This is a stopwatch that allows you to start a new timekeeping by pressing just the button at the 4 o'clock position, which stops, resets and restarts the stopwatch. The flyback function was introduced in the 1930s to help pilots measure different phases of flight. Unlike a traditional chronograph, which requires three separate actions - stop, reset and restart - the flyback function allows the seconds hand to instantly return to zero and resume timekeeping with a single press of the bottom button.
In addition to the movement used in the watch, the gilded dial with vertical cut also catches the eye, giving the watch a subtle vintage touch. This is also supported by the use of three scales on the dial - telemetric, tachymetric and minute.

The Baume & Mercier Riviera M0A10828 has a gilt dial with vertical cut, complemented by rhodium-plated applied indices and hands. The central seconds hand and chronograph hands are blue, creating a nice contrast. An interesting detail of the central seconds hand is the Fí symbol located at its end.
The watch is powered by a reliable Swiss La Joux-Perret 8147 mechanical movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. The self-winding movement with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour offers a crown winding option, a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking), a handy date display at the half past five position and the popular stopwatch function. Measured values are displayed by a central seconds hand and sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position.

The unmistakable dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is also equipped with double-sided anti-reflective coating, ensuring excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. Sapphire has also been used for the open caseback, through which the operation of the mechanical movement can be observed. It reveals the decorations in the form of mother-of-pearl, Geneva stripes and blue screws.
The steel case of the watch is complemented by a three-row steel bracelet finished with a butterfly clasp. It is the integrated bracelet that supports the sporty touch of the watch. In addition, it is equipped with a quick-release system and its eventual replacement is thus very easy even without tools.

Better legibility in low-light conditions is ensured by the beige-coloured Super-LumiNova luminescence on the indices and hands. The water resistance of this model is 100 m. The diameter of the case is 41 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most men's wrists.

The limited edition is limited to only 73 pieces.
