The Baume & Mercier Classima M0A10479 has a simple mother-of-pearl dial complemented by silver embossed indices alternating with Roman numerals at the hour positions. The whole is suitably completed by the delicate silver leaf hands. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with high scratch resistance. Sapphire has also been used for the dial, through which the operation of the ornate mechanical movement can be observed.
The case is decorated with a lunette set with 60 brilliant-cut diamonds.
The watch is powered by a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding ETA 2892-A2 with a power reserve of around 42 hours. The movement, with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, offers a crown winding option and a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking). The movement is equipped with a date display at the classic 3 o'clock position.
The watch case is complemented by a versatile and practical five-row steel bracelet, finished with a butterfly clasp.

The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain and hand washing. The diameter of the case is 31 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most women's wrists.
