Baume & Mercier Baume 10685 brings a minimalist design to the Baume range, characterised by its unusual and clean look. The model is a great choice when choosing an unconventional ladies' watch suitable for everyday use.
At first glance, the Baume range impresses with a distinctly different design within the brand. It follows the avant-garde models with which the brand is historically associated. Baume & Mercier Baume are a combination of creativity, comfort and the brand's concern for the environment. The range is characterised by 3 elements - a crown at the 12 o'clock position as a reminder of pocket watches, a strap attached to the moving parts for a more comfortable wearing experience and greater comfort on the wrist, and straps without the classic system of stirrups, fastened with buttons.
The Baume & Mercier Baume M0A10685 model has a very minimalist-looking turquoise dial with a sunburst effect and off-centre seconds hand in a slightly recessed sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position and a date display above 6 o'clock. Rose gold hands take care of the time display. An interesting detail is the coloured dial surround, which matches the strap stitching and the threads of the pushers.
The movement is powered by the reliable Swiss battery-powered Ronda 6004.D. The movement offers a date function and has an off-centre seconds hand. The unmistakable dial is protected by a high-scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
The steel watch case with a rose gold PVD surface finish is complemented by a black strap made of cotton fabric with a cork lining and contrasting green stitching. It is attached to the case on movable feet with buttons. Changing the strap is thus very easy without tools.
The water resistance of this model is 30 m. The diameter of the case is 35 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most women's wrists. The full face of the watch offers the ideal scope for personalization in the form of engraving.
The Baume collection aims to express watchmaking in a slightly different way, an alternative approach with a minimalist design. The Baume collection goes even further by bringing an original representation of time and using natural and upcycled materials. Baume watches reflect B&M's approach of combining environmental responsibility and innovation, two key concepts in the brand's philosophy. Like all other Baume watches, this watch is equipped with a special strap attachment system that allows easy replacement without the use of tools. The case is compatible with other Baume straps.
