The perfectly spherical Alexander Shorokhoff Shar AS.SH02-2 model is attracting well-deserved attention—not only on the wrist, but also across the entire watch market and among enthusiasts around the world. The perfectly round case of this automatic watch represents an innovation and an absolute world premiere. Despite its modest diameter of just 25 mm, Alexander Shorokhoff has managed to make a truly strong impression with this extraordinary piece.
The spherical shape here approaches absolute perfection—it has no edges or corners, no beginning and no end. The latest addition to the “Shar” watch family (which translates from Russian as “sphere”) boasts a stunning mother-of-pearl dial in a pastel yellow shade.
The case and front crystal blend seamlessly into a single harmonious, spherical whole. To connect the caseback to the watch body without creating any additional edges or openings, a unique design utilizing a single screw was developed. This screw is positioned exactly in the center of the caseback, water-tightly connecting both parts, and—thanks to its hemispherical shape—fits perfectly and naturally into the overall design. The sapphire crystal is precisely shaped to fit the spherical case and blends into it almost invisibly.
The case lugs are also shaped like tiny spheres and securely fasten the strap using a pin. The model thus offers versatility and can be worn with either a steel bracelet or a leather strap.
Inside the watch, a Swiss ETA 2671 automatic movement ticks reliably. Its rotor is adorned with precise and intricate hand engraving, which has become a beautiful tradition and a cherished signature of Alexander Shorokhoff’s masterpieces.
This model is water-resistant to 3 ATM, meaning the watch can withstand splashes of water, such as when washing hands or in the rain.
This limited edition was produced in a run of 30 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the strap color. The straps are hand-stitched, and it may happen that leather of a particular color is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
