The elegant men's Alexander Shorokhoff Lucky 8-2 AS.V3.02-GY watch belongs to the Vintage model series. The Vintage collection has been supplemented with a new variant of the Lucky 8 model. The new model is incomparably more beautiful, also thanks to a more sophisticated and open dial, which allows us to see the artistically engraved movement.
The case of the Lucky 8-2 AS.V3.02-GY is made of stainless steel with a gold PVD finish. Inside it is a mechanical movement Poljot 2416 with manual winding. The individual parts are hand engraved and machined. It is set with 17 jewels and has a power reserve of 42 hours. Everything is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
The exceptional date display dominating the dial is similar to the previous model. The days of the month are displayed on its edge, where the hour markings usually appear. The hour scale has moved to the centre of the dial. On the 31 days of the month scale, days 8, 21 (heart symbol) and 31 (question mark) are marked with special symbols. Below the dial is a special gilt chest with a yellow window to indicate the current date. For better visibility of the date, the hands have been painted yellow and highlighted with an elegant black drawing.
The black dial features the Alexander Shorokhoff logo covered in rose gold. It immediately catches the eye. It's a way of emphasising the uniqueness of an Alexander Shorokhoff watch.
The time-keeping is handled by the movement of calibre 2416. Production of that year ended 20 years ago and today it ranks among collector's rarities. The movement has been fully rebuilt in the Alexander Shorokhoff factory, oiled with new oils and hand engraved.
The water resistance of this model is set at 5 ATM, so the watch can come into contact with splashing water, for example, when washing hands or taking a shower. The yellow stitching of the original ostrich leather strap perfectly complements this beautiful watch.
The watch was produced in a limited edition of50 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
