HAPPY SECOND BORDEAUX - The most joyful dance of a single second.
The Happy Second Bordeaux brings joy, movement and playful elegance to the world of mechanical watches. Here, Alexander Shorokhoff combines retro inspiration with modern design in a sophisticated dark red colour scheme that immediately catches the eye.
The main visual and functional element is the multi-coloured chronograph seconds hand - the symbol of this model. Just press the start/stop button at the 2 o'clock position and the watch literally comes to life. The colourful hand dances to the rhythm of the time, and within 60 seconds, it performs its unique, energetic movement.
The watch case is a completely new construction, designed specifically for this model. A diameter of 42 mm and a height of just 12.40 mm are exceptional values for a chronograph fitted with the ETA 2894 movement. The rounded lines of the case and pushers give the watch an elegant, modern look and ensure high wearing comfort.
The unconventionally designed sapphire crystal is also an interesting design detail. Instead of the classic domed shape, a cylindrical glass is used, which creates a contrast to the flat profile of the case. The result is a harmonious interplay of shapes and colour accents that looks luxurious and sits naturally on every wrist.
At the heart of the watch is the sought-after and extremely accurate ETA 2894 chronograph, with a total height of just 6.10 mm. It features a central second stopwatch, a minute counter at 9 o'clock and an hour counter at 6 o'clock. Of course, the hand-decorated rotor, a typical feature of Alexander Shorokhoff watches, underlines its manufactory character.
The whole is completed by a soft crocodile leather strap with light contrast stitching and an elegant fold-over clasp, which seamlessly links to the overall design of the watch.

This model was produced in a limited edition of just 50 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
