At first glance, the dial of the Happy Second watch simply looks black. However, when viewed from a specific angle, it reveals ribbed lines that create a fascinating play of rectangles for the eye. The dial comes alive and creates an emotional connection. One is surprised by this initially invisible but ever-present detail.
To evoke even more emotion, the chronograph sub-dial is brought out in avant-garde colours at 6 o'clock. And as soon as you press the start/stop button at 2 o'clock, the watch comes to life and the colourful seconds hand begins its joyful dance to the rhythm of 60 seconds.
The case of the Alexander Shorokhoff Happy Second AS.HS-03 has been completely redesigned. With a diameter of 42 mm and a height of just 12.40 mm, it is remarkably slim for a chronograph movement of ETA calibre 2894. The rounded case design gives the watch a sleek and modern aesthetic.
The front glass has also been developed in an innovative way. Unlike conventional domed sapphire crystals, this model has a cylindrical glass that contrasts interestingly with the flat appearance of the watch. The interplay of these elements creates an elegant look with deliberately placed colour accents, resulting in a harmonious appearance and an excellent fit on every wrist.
Inside the watch, the coveted and precise ETA 2894 chronograph works reliably, with an overall height of just 6.10 mm. It offers a stopwatch function with a central seconds hand, a decentralised minute hand at 9 o'clock and an hour hand at 6 o'clock. The rotor, as with all Alexander Shorokhoff watches, is intricately hand engraved and refined.
The soft calf leather strap, decorated with artistic stainless steel detailing and coloured edges, seamlessly integrates into the overall design of the watch. This model was produced in a limited edition of only 50 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
