On a visit to Flensburg, Alexander Shorokhov was inspired by an unforgettable evening that began with a relaxed stroll along the waterfront, where the idyllic and peaceful atmosphere left a lasting impression on him. The walk was perfectly rounded off at a cosy local seafood restaurant, whose culinary delights completed the evening's magic. This exceptional experience gave birth to the visionary idea of designing a dial with a fascinating underwater world.
The resulting Flensi model, affectionately named after its place of origin, captivates with a dial that represents a sea of colour and three-dimensional depth. The dial background is rendered in four different colours of mother-of-pearl: from the light mother-of-pearl at the top to the dark mother-of-pearl at the bottom, which artfully imitates the depth of the water.
The dial displays an impressive composition of multi-coloured fish and marine elements as 3D effect applications that create a vivid underwater scene. This unique design captures the beauty and diversity of the underwater world and masterfully expresses Alexander Shorokhov's vision.
The fish are made in an avant-garde style with a special color scheme that emphasizes their vivid presence. Each fish has a friendly and contented look - just like Mr Shorokhov's mood on this unforgettable evening. At eight o'clock, you'll discover that a bottle with a message from afar has arrived on the shores of Flensburg - you just have to find it. At one o'clock an old anchor is discovered, which is said to be hidden somewhere at the bottom of Flensburg. The inscription"limited edition" is seamlessly integrated into the design and can be found among the fish, which adds to the exclusivity of the model. Overall, the dial creates a friendly aura and a relaxed mood that is perfectly reflected when wearing the watch.
The hands are strikingly black with a distinctive luminescent coating that perfectly matches the colour of the hour applications at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, making it easy to read the time. The 45 mm diameter case has two crowns: one at 2 o'clock for the inner rotating lunette and the other at 4 o'clock for the time setting. Both crowns are clearly marked to avoid confusion. In addition, the crowns are fitted with a double seal to ensure optimum protection against water pressure. An extremely high-quality process has been developed to produce the lunette in a different colour. The lunette is made of robust titanium and a special anodizing process was chosen to apply the paint. This created a harmonious connection between the dial and the bracelet.
The case back (dynko) has an artistic design and features a beautiful image from the depths of the sea - an adorable pair of turtles in 3D. Inside the case is a reliable and robust Swiss ETA 2824 or equivalent Sellita SW-200 movement, featuring a hand engraved and refined rotor. A high-quality rubber strap with an elegant folding clasp made of solid stainless steel has been developed for comfortable wearing and carefree handling. The top of the strap features the avant-garde AS brand logo on one side and the slogan "Art on the Wrist" on the other.
This unusual model comes in a special watch box. Inside is a wavy fabric cover in a light bluish colour. A "cocoon" with a steel bezel at the top of the box allows you to admire the watch even when it is closed.
The brand has succeeded in creating another exclusive piece of art, which is produced in a limited edition of only 60 pieces.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
