The Robot Aerodynamic line pays homage to a Czech design phenomenon – the Czechoslovak Tatra 77, the world’s first serially produced aerodynamic car. Its distinctive embossed dial is adorned with ribbing reminiscent of the bodies of early aerodynamic cars such as the Wikov 35 Kapka or the Zbrojovka Z 4. A symbolic fuel gauge – the power reserve indicator of the hand-wound mechanical movement – and an off-center seconds hand are standout features of the dial, further enhanced by teardrop-shaped hands.
The Aerodynamic model delivers a timeless design inspired by aerodynamics, with a unique embossed dial and ribbed detailing. The case is made of sandblasted titanium and fitted with a spherical sapphire crystal. The watch is powered by a specially decorated La Joux-Perret movement with an 8-day power reserve, modified exclusively for the Robot brand.
The watch was awarded the Czech Grand Design prize in the Watch/Jewelry category.
