The Vostok Europe Energia Rocket Chrono Line VK61-575C589 is part of the Energia Rocket model series . The Energija was a Soviet launch vehicle designed to carry the Buran space shuttle. When it was designed, it was also envisaged to be able to launch parts of space stations or small battle space stations. If auxiliary rockets are added, the launcher is capable of delivering up to about 180 tons of cargo into orbit. Its development was initiated after the failures of the N-1 rocket.
The case of the Vostok Europe Energia Rocket Chrono Line VK61-575C589 is made of 316L stainless steel with a black PVD finish. Inside is a Japanese Seiko VK61 battery-operated movement. At the traditional position 3, there is a handy date display. Position 6 is occupied by an off-centre seconds hand. The watch also features a stopwatch function, with the sub-dial at position 12 serving as a minute counter. The lunette of the watch is unidirectionally rotatable, and there is even a helium valve.
The dial is protected by a mineral hardened glass with an internal anti-reflective treatment. A total of 18 tritium capsules ensure perfect readability in the dark. They can be found on the indices, hands and lunette. Thanks to its 48 mm diameter, it will be an ideal choice for fans of larger watches.
The water resistance of the Energia Rocket Chrono Line VK61-575C589 is set at 30 ATM and is supported by a screw-down crown. A replacement strap is also included.
