The Vostok Europe Batiscafos Grand Chrono 6S21-511A772B represents a brand new model series named Batiscafos. The name "Batiscafos" comes from the Greek 'bathys' (deep) and 'skaphos' (ship). Vessels like the legendary Trieste, which sank to the bottom of the Mariana Trench in 1960 (10,984 ± 25 metres), symbolise the determination to explore the unknown.
The case of the Vostok Europe Batiscafos Grand Chrono 6S21-511A772B is made of stainless steel and features a unidirectional rotating lunette. Inside the watch, the Japanese Miyota 6S21 battery-powered movement works reliably. It is equipped with a stopwatch and a date display. Everything is protected by a hardened K1 mineral crystal with an internal anti-reflective treatment.Perfect legibility even in low light conditions is ensured by a total of 16 tritium capsules (13 on the indices, 2 on the hour hand, 1 on the minute hand). The ends of the central hands and the small side hands are painted with luminescent white.
Thanks to the case diameter of 49.7 mm, the Vostok Europe Batiscafos Grand Chrono 6S21-511A772B is designed especially for fans of larger watches. The 30 ATM water resistance rating indicates that the watch can handle greater contact with water, such as swimming or diving. The watch comes in a special package with a spare silicone strap.
