The Victorinox Journey 1884, model numbered 242015, draws inspiration from the same hand design seen on tourist directional signs. This feature on the dial is sure to catch the eye of any watch watch watcher. The case of the watch is made of stainless steel, with a bevel on the bottom edge to make room for the year 1884 - the year Victorinox was founded.
The movement is powered by the SelittaSW200-1 movement . The watch is ISO 1413 certified, which means the watch is shock resistant. This model is also water resistant to 20 ATM thanks to the screw-down crown and the use of ISO 22810. Which consists of just a few of the following: resistance to immersion in water under pressure, condensation tests, resistance to different temperatures, resistance to water and air overpressure.
This model sticks to the hand thanks to a steel pull that features a tool-less replaceable mechanism. By pressing a small button from the bottom of the strap, the strap can be easily removed from the watch case. This makes it possible to change the strap, for example on the go, without the use of any tools. The watch can thus reflect the current need at a particular moment.
Thescrew-down crown thus protects the movement even better so that no water can get to it in the event of swimming or diving. Not only for the length of the dive, you can use the one-way rotating lunette with ceramic insert and counting scale. The dial also features military (24-hour) time and a date window. Perfect legibility is ensured by Super-LumiNova® which is used to illuminate the hands, numbers and indices.
The watch is guaranteed for 5 years.
