The Swiss Tissot Seastar 1000 Wilson WNBA Special Edition T120.807.17.051.00 is part of the T-Sport Seastar line. This model series is especially designed for water sports and diving watch lovers.
The Tissot T1208071705100 is powered by a Powermatic 80 automatic movement, which boasts a power reserve of up to 80 hours, which is twice as high as is common with automatic movements in this price range. It is fitted with 23 stones and its 21,600 vibrations per hour can be observed through a transparent dial. The movement is "based" on the ETA 2824 variant. Tissot was heavily involved in its development, making it the first watchmaker in the world to incorporate it into its watches. This underlines its label as a major innovator in the watch industry. The movement's flywheel is made of Nivachron alloy, which is more resistant to magnetic fields and temperature changes and results in better watch accuracy.
The watch is made with a combination of steel case and rubber strap. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating, which is highly resistant to scratches. This model is characterized by a typical diver's watch design, so of course there is excellent legibility, luminescence and a unidirectional rotating diving lunette.
The 300m water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown and guarantees durability in almost any water contact, including deep diving.
