Tissot PRX 35mm Powermatic 80 Steel & 18K Gold T931.207.41.336.00 is a T-Classic watch. The watch catches the eye at first glance with its unusual barrel-shaped case and bracelet connection.
The Tissot T931.207.41.336.00 is powered by the Powermatic 80.111 automatic movement, which boasts a power reserve of up to 80 hours, which is twice as high as is common with automatic movements in this price range. It is fitted with 23 jewels and its 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour can be observed through the transparent dial. The machine is "built" on the basis of the ETA 2824 variant. Besides the time function, it is also equipped with a date display. This can be found at the 3 o'clock index. The hour and minute hands, as well as the indices, are provided with a luminescent coating for better reading of the time in twilight or darkness.
The watch case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. The lunette around the glass is made of 18-carat gold. The simple and clear grey dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is highly scratch-resistant. On the index positions we find 44 diamonds in Top Wesselton colour. Thanks to its water resistance to 100 metres (10 ATM ), the watch does not need to be removed from the wrist even when swimming or snorkelling. It will be a great partner not only for everyday wear, but also for sports in the water and on land.
In the PRX model, the Tissot brand has resurrected a design from the 1970s. It references the pioneering work of watch designer Gérald Genta. Genta was responsible for icons such as the Universal Geneve Polerouter, the Audemars Piguet "Royal Oak", the IWC Ingenieur and the Patek Philippe "Nautilus". The PRX designation itself stands for "P" for Precise, "R" for Robust and "X" for the Roman numeral ten and a water resistance of 10 bar.
