The Tissot PR516 Powermatic 80 T149.407.16.041.00 is part of the T-Sport PRS 516 series. This model series features a design inspired by motorsport from the 1960s. A distinctive feature of the watch is the square hands, which refer to the retro design of this model series. On the case we find a fixed lunette with a minute scale.

The Tissot T1494071604100 is powered by a mechanical movement with automatic winding ETA Powermatic 80 C07.111, which has a winding power reserve of up to 80 hours. It is fitted with 23 jewels and the frequency of the movement is 3 Hz (21,600 semi-frequencies per hour). The flywheel is made of Nivachron alloy, which is more resistant to magnetic fields and temperature changes and results in better watch accuracy. The movement can be monitored through the transparent caseback. At the 3 o'clock position we find a handy date display on a white background.

The case of the watch is made of stainless steel and is held on the hand by a blue leather strap. The black dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is highly resistant to scratches. Good readability in direct sunlight is ensured by an anti-reflective coating. Thanks to the water resistance to 100 metres (10 ATM) , there is no need to remove the watch from the hand even when swimming or snorkelling. It will be a great partner not only for everyday wear, but also for sports in the water and on land.
