The Tissot PR516 Automatic Chronograph T149.462.11.011.00 is part of the T-Sport PRS 516 series. This model series features a design inspired by motorsport from the 1960s.

The Tissot model T1494621101100 is powered by a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding ETA A05.231, based on the Valjoux 7753 movement. The movement has a power reserve of up to 68 hours, runs at 4 Hz (28,800 oscillations per hour) and has 29 stone settings. The machine has a stopwatch function , hacking and a manual winding option. The flywheel of this movement is made of Nivachron alloy, which is more resistant to magnetic field and temperature changes and results in better watch accuracy.

On the white dial we find an off-centre seconds hand at the 9 o'clock position. The other two sub-dials are used for the stopwatch, with a minute counter at the second hour position and an hour counter at the sixth hour position. On the lunette around the dial, which is protected by mineral glass, is a handy tachymeter scale, which is used to read the speed per kilometre. A pulsometer scale is also found on the lunette. Both the hands and the indices are filled with Super-LumiNova luminescent coating, which ensures trouble-free time reading even in low-light conditions.

The watch is made in an all-steel design. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, which is highly resistant to scratches. Thanks to the water resistance to 100 metres (10 ATM) , it is not necessary to remove the watch from the hand even when swimming or snorkelling. It will thus be a great partner not only for everyday wear, but also for sports in the water and on land.
