The TIMEX Expedition x Peanuts TW2Y84800 men's watch is a successful combination of tried-and-true outdoor style and playful nostalgia, featuring the beloved beagle Snoopy on an adventurous hiking expedition. The dominant feature is the deep blue dial, featuring easy-to-read Arabic numerals and decorative markers for the cardinal directions, which emphasize the expedition-style character of this model. The dial is further complemented by a practical date window for a convenient view of the current date.
The watch is built on highly popular and versatile proportions, thanks to which it fits perfectly on most men’s wrists. The round case, measuring 40 mm in diameter and 10.5 mm thick, is made of low-lead brass and features a finely sandblasted finish that gives the watch a matte and durable look. The dial is reliably protected from the rigors of everyday wear by a mineral crystal.
A reliable Japanese quartz movement (caliber 203), powered by an SR626SW silver oxide battery, ensures flawless and precise operation. Luminescent coating applied to the hands and hour markers ensures easy time-reading in the evening twilight or in low-light conditions.
The watch’s overall adventurous character is complemented by a flexible green silicone strap with a grooved texture that effectively wicks away moisture and is ideal for active outdoor pursuits and sports. The strap, with a lug spacing of 20 mm, is designed for wrist circumferences ranging from 150 to 205 mm and features both a classic pin buckle and the modern Quick Release system for instant replacement without the need for watchmaking tools. The total weight of 71.54 g also ensures very comfortable and stable all-day wear.
The watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM (50 meters), providing reliable protection during normal daily contact with water, such as showering, washing hands, or being out in the rain.

Timex is an American brand of affordable watches that was founded in 1854 in Waterbury, Connecticut, where it is still based today. The manufacturer currently focuses on the production of a wide range of different types of watches, from the purely sporty digital Ironman (for example, this model from the 90s is legendary) to the formal mechanical Marlin or the very popular and extremely well-designed retro series Q Reissue, which is based on everyday watches from the 70s to 90s.
Over the decades, watches from this manufacturer have rightly earned a reputation for excellent price-performance ratio, which is of course very welcome for "normal" daily wear. A synonym for Timex is their slogan 'It takes a licking and keeps on ticking', which the company started using in the 1950s.
Nowadays, Timex is notorious for numerous collaborations with well-known and lesser-known brands and personalities, which often result in unique and highly collectible pieces. The first significant collaboration of this kind saw the light of day in 1930, when Timex released a series of watches inspired by Mickey Mouse together with the Disney company - which actually saved them from financial collapse at the time.
