The Robot Aplos Grey Sun offers a clean and elegant design and minimalist look that makes it a great choice for an elegant watch suitable as an everyday accessory. Aplos models bring a timeless design and case size that makes the watch suitable for both men and women.
The Robot Aplos collection draws on the philosophy of the Greek Plato, who extolled the beauty of simplicity. That is why the main theme of the watch is purity of design and functionality. "Aplos" means simple in Greek, and this concept permeates the entire form of the watch.
The Robot Aplos Grey Sun model has a minimalist dial with a subtle texture, complemented by a contrasting minute scale and subtle yet highly visible polished applied indices at the hour positions and baton hands, all in gold. The central fitting of the hands is rendered in a form that references the brand's logo and the shape of the special screw heads used on Robot watches. The result is a harmoniously working whole, made up of thoughtful, subtle details.
The dial is protected by a spherical sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. The sapphire is highly scratch-resistant and, thanks to the anti-reflective layer, also offers excellent readability in direct light. The face of the watch provides a small view of the flywheel and also reveals the rotor, on which the brand name is displayed using the flag alphabet.
The watch is powered by a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding La Joux-Perret G100 movement with a power reserve of up to 68 hours. The movement, with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, offers a crown winding option, a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking) and a date at the half past five position.
The steel case of the watch is complemented on the hand by a very comfortable brown leather strap, finished with a thorn buckle. The strap is equipped with a quick-release system, making any changes very easy without tools. Quickly adapting it to any outfit is a breeze.
The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain and hand washing. The diameter of the case is 39.4 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most men's, but so many women's wrists.

The Czech watch brand Robot was founded in 2018 out of a passion for precise craftsmanship, the beauty of mechanics, respect for craftsmanship and the rich Czech history in the field of design and industry, and last but not least, out of a desire to continue these values and create a product with Czech roots.
