The continuation of the sought-after edition carrying a strong symbolism. This generation of PRIM watches tells a story of virtue, courage and determination. Its bearer is the Czech lion.
Four different colour versions and the common denominator is the application of the national symbol. On the dial, lid, rotor and strap. A ubiquitous reminder of the highest national values and qualities. Dignity and respect in every second and in every detail.
There will never be enough of them. Watches that we wear with pride and wear them for their stories and symbolism. And this is about nothing less than the symbol of the Czech lion. Courage, sovereignty and royalty. Its history dates back to the 13th century and its dignity has and will continue to accompany it.
The accentuation of the national symbol is embedded in a quality durable steel case. This is framed by a novelty: a sapphire crystal lunette with high quality Swiss luminescence.
The dial is decorated with a lion relief and attractively designed hands with high luminosity. The applied indices, also with Swiss luminescence, stand out nicely. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating beautifully accentuates the design of the watch and suppresses unwanted reflections. The lid, the rotor and the strap, which further develop this motif, take care of emphasizing the symbolism of this model.
Stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, luminescent-coated hands and screw-down crown. This is the basis for a strong watch that can withstand water up to 10 ATM.
Black, red and blue dial versions in a steel case or an interesting bronze one whose case has undergone an IP coating. Four variants from which to choose the one that best describes you. You can't go wrong with either one. They are perfectly selected and assembled so that the whole is in harmony with the concept of the watch.
The date windows are matched with a black background.
The watch ticks with a high-quality Sellita SW290-1 Swiss movement with automatic winding and a rotor bearing the same theme as the whole watch. Precise, reliable and precise movement. Ideal for a watch that carries such a strong legacy. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, has 31 jewels and a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement also has a "hacking" function (stopping the seconds hand when ordered) and the possibility of manual winding of the crown.
The three variations of the watch are ready on a steel movement, and a leather strap with a lion application and butterfly buckle is also included.
A fourth variant with a case in IP-coated bronze comes on a leather strap. Included is a strap made of hi-tech FKM material, which stands out for its hypoallergenic property and resistance to heat, sweat and chemicals. This strap is very pleasant to the touch.
Limited edition. Only 50 pieces of each colour are produced.

The idea of producing Czechoslovak wristwatches first appeared immediately after the end of World War II. The effort of the management at that time was to limit the dependence on imports, especially from the western states of Europe. Wristwatches were not produced in Czechoslovakia before
In the fall of 1949, Adolf Martínek was entrusted with the task of building a new plant and preparing the serial production of wristwatches, who, in the unused building of the national committee in Nové Město nad Metují, together with the first 15 colleagues, embarked on a task that at the time was handled by only eight countries in the world.
Those interested bought the first Czechoslovak wristwatch in 1958. However, first it was necessary to choose the brand under which the wristwatch would be manufactured.
The PRIM brand was chosen, which at the time was also used for timepieces produced in other plants of the national company Chronotechna. Initially, an identical logo was used for the alarm clocks and wall clocks called the "loaf". Later, however, the graphic form was simplified to meet the requirements for modern dial design. The designer Josef Žid is the author of the so-called "standing" PRIM logo, which has been used on wristwatches since the 1970s. Until the 1990s, part of the designer's work was also the design of watches, which is why Josef Žid was entrusted with the design of the new brand. In addition, the need for a new graphic representation of the brand was supported by the fact that in 1969 the watch manufacturing plant in Nové Město nad Metují became completely independent and acquired the name it bears to this day - ELTON.
Until the 1990s, the New Town plant produced hundreds of thousands of wristwatches a year. However, after the so-called Velvet Revolution, watches from foreign brands began to flood Czechoslovakia - from luxury to the cheapest Asian ones. Interest in primkeys gradually declined and for a while it seemed that the production of Czech wristwatches no longer had a future.
Fortunately, it was possible to gradually revive interest in domestic products. Therefore, it was decided to convert the factory into small-scale production of the manufactory type. In 2008, the production of new mechanical movements began and ELTON hodinářská joined the ranks of important watch manufactures that rely on handwork, precision and an individual approach to the customer.
