After a successful sold-out edition, Prim has prepared a new limited edition of PRIM Pilot Dual Time watches. The new dial with highlighted minutes and originally designed pilot elements. The edition will delight sports enthusiasts, but thanks to the original design it is also intended for everyday wear.
Automatic watch with sapphire crystal and sculpted luminescent indices, which are the dominant feature of the pilot watch. Treat yourself to an accessory that will have you on high in no time - even if you're just keeping your feet firmly on the ground.
Got your head in the clouds? Do you turn behind every plane, or even hold a pilot's license? Then your wrist must not miss the PRIM watch from the special edition Pilot Dual Time, which pays tribute to Czech aviation.
The dial is decorated with an original sandblasted structure, which is complemented by specially designed plastic luminescent numerical indices, which make the watch perfectly legible even in low light conditions. As you will all recognize at the 12 o'clock position you will find a side slip indicator from the contemporary horizons. The true connoisseur will not miss the silhouette of the legendary Czechoslovakian Albatros L-39 trainer on the dial itself and now also on the second hand.
The watch case is made of the highest quality stainless steel with the popular patina finish, which gives the watch an original look. The pilot crown and typical hands complete the whole look of the pilot watch. The watch is closed with a dial with a window with the model description and limited edition serial number in the given colour combination. Pilot's watch lovers, however, will most appreciate the high-quality Japanese Seiko NH34 calibre and the hand-stitched cowhide leather strap.
ThePRIM Pilot Dual Time - E W91P.13250.E model boasts a stainless steel case with a patina finish and a well-crafted brown leather strap. The blue dial is decorated with 3D numbers with a raised effect, while the red hand indicates the GMT function and makes it easy to overlook the second time zone subtraction.
The watch is powered by a Seiko NH34 mechanical movement with automatic winding. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour, has 24 jewels and a power reserve of 41 hours. The movement also has a"hacking" function (stopping the seconds hand when ordered) and the possibility of manual winding by the crown. Among the functions, the watch also offers a second time - GMT. In addition, we find a handy date display at the 6 o'clock position.
The steel case of the watch is followed by a well-crafted leather strap with a silver branded thorn buckle.
The blue dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. The sapphire crystal is a great advantage in watches as it is almost impossible to scratch.
The hands and numerals are painted with a luminescent coating, which ensures legibility in the dark even in low light conditions.
The case diameter of 43 mm places the model among the larger men's watches. The water resistance of the watch is 100 m (10 ATM), so there is no problem to go swimming with the watch. However, because of the leather strap, we do not recommend it too much, as water shortens its life too much.
The limited edition watch is made in honor of aviatics in a number of 50 pieces of each color variant.

The idea of producing Czechoslovak wristwatches first appeared immediately after the end of World War II. The effort of the management at that time was to limit the dependence on imports, especially from the western states of Europe. Wristwatches were not produced in Czechoslovakia before
In the fall of 1949, Adolf Martínek was entrusted with the task of building a new plant and preparing the serial production of wristwatches, who, in the unused building of the national committee in Nové Město nad Metují, together with the first 15 colleagues, embarked on a task that at the time was handled by only eight countries in the world.
Those interested bought the first Czechoslovak wristwatch in 1958. However, first it was necessary to choose the brand under which the wristwatch would be manufactured.
The PRIM brand was chosen, which at the time was also used for timepieces produced in other plants of the national company Chronotechna. Initially, an identical logo was used for the alarm clocks and wall clocks called the "loaf". Later, however, the graphic form was simplified to meet the requirements for modern dial design. The designer Josef Žid is the author of the so-called "standing" PRIM logo, which has been used on wristwatches since the 1970s. Until the 1990s, part of the designer's work was also the design of watches, which is why Josef Žid was entrusted with the design of the new brand. In addition, the need for a new graphic representation of the brand was supported by the fact that in 1969 the watch manufacturing plant in Nové Město nad Metují became completely independent and acquired the name it bears to this day - ELTON.
Until the 1990s, the New Town plant produced hundreds of thousands of wristwatches a year. However, after the so-called Velvet Revolution, watches from foreign brands began to flood Czechoslovakia - from luxury to the cheapest Asian ones. Interest in primkeys gradually declined and for a while it seemed that the production of Czech wristwatches no longer had a future.
Fortunately, it was possible to gradually revive interest in domestic products. Therefore, it was decided to convert the factory into small-scale production of the manufactory type. In 2008, the production of new mechanical movements began and ELTON hodinářská joined the ranks of important watch manufactures that rely on handwork, precision and an individual approach to the customer.
