The Swiss Oris Aquis Small Second Date 43,5 mm Dat Watt Limited Edition II 01 743 7734 4197-Set impresses with its specific, highly attractive "diver" design and excellent workmanship. This model serves excellently not only underwater, but also in everyday wear. This model was produced in a limited edition of only 2009 pieces for the whole world. It is dedicated to Oris' partnership with the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS), which helps protect the Wadden Sea.

The case of the Oris Aquis Small Second Date 43.5mm Dat Watt Limited Edition II 0174377344197-Set is made of stainless steel, as is its bracelet. An extra rubber strap is also included, along with a replacement tool. Inside the case, the Oris 743 Swiss mechanical movement (based on the Sellita SW220-1) with automatic winding works reliably. This movement has 26 stone fits inside and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour (4 Hz). The date indicator is designed in an unusual way with a circular indicator on the dial. At position 9 we then find the off-centre seconds hand. A unidirectionally rotating tungsten diving lunette is used to measure time periods.

The perfectly clear dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant. Legibility in sharp light is ensured by an internal anti-reflective coating. In darkness and low light conditions, the luminescence of Superluminova on the hands and indexes is useful. The water resistance of this watch is 300 m ( 30 ATM), so it can handle contact with water, such as diving to about 30 meters. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown.

This model was produced in a limited edition of only 2009 pieces for the whole world. It is dedicated to Oris' partnership with the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS), which helps protect the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea is a 500 km long and on average 20 km wide area of the North Sea between the Frisian (also Wadden) Islands and the mainland of the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. It is an example of a natural salt marsh with a wealth of flora and fauna (especially birds) and is of immense ecological value. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009 and this carries with it the symbolism of the number of pieces of this unique limpet. The colour of the dial is inspired by the reflection of light from the salt marshes in the Wadden Sea.
