The Orient Star Sports RE-AU0503N M42 Diver 1964 75th Anniversary Limited Edition watch comes as a limited edition of 700 pieces to mark the 75th anniversary of the Orient Star brand.
The model is based on the brand's first ever Orient Star Olympia Calendar Diver from 1964 and transforms its iconic design into a modern form that meets the international ISO 6425 standard for diving watches.

The Orient Star Diver 1964 75th Anniversary Limited Edition perfectly combines design elements of the past and present. They adopt the distinctive indices and hands that also appeared on the dial of the 1964 model, and the steel rotating lunette, sharp lines of the case feet and lack of crown protection by the case are also similar. The watches boast the superb quality and meticulous craftsmanship that is synonymous with ORIENT STAR.

The dominant feature of the watch is the special gradient dial in blue-grey tones that escalate from the centre towards the edges. The effect is reminiscent of the reflection of the starry sky on the surface of the sea and the transition from light to darkness in the depths of the ocean. The dial is complemented by distinctive and easy-to-read hands and indices at the hour positions.
The dial is protected by an arched sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, excellent scratch resistance and excellent readability in direct light. For better legibility in low light conditions, thehands and indices are coated with a luminescent layer.

The steel case of the Orient Star RE-AU0503N00B is complemented by a very comfortable five-row steel bracelet, finished with a fold-over clasp with extension. The classic hallmarks of Orient Star diving watches include the unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down caseback and crown.

The watch is powered by a mechanical movement with automatic winding from the Orient workshop, the Orient calibre F6N47 with a power reserve of around 50 hours, which of course has the function of stopping the seconds hand when setting the time, the so-called hacking and the possibility of winding with the crown. At the 3 o'clock position we find a date indicator and an interesting complication is the winding reserve indicator at the 12 o'clock position.

With a case diameter of 41 mm, the watch fits well on most men's wrists. The water resistance of this model is 200 m and it is certified by ISO 6425 standard for diving watches.

The limited edition is limited to only 700 pieces, so the watch can be an interesting choice not only for fans of diving watches, but also for collectors and fans of models with history.
