Orient Star Contemporary RE-BX0009B M34 F8 Date Limited Edition is designed to be unobtrusive, but at the same time catches the eye on closer inspection with its craftsmanship. A special feature here is the unusual dial with the motif of the Perseid meteor swarm in the night sky, as well as the elaborate details of the case and the ornate movement. They reveal the overall beauty and perfection of the handcraft and fine mechanics.

The Orient Star Contemporary Skeleton RE-BX0009B watch from the Contemporary collection extends the Orient Star range of models inspired by mythology and the starry sky. In this case, the dial, produced with a special patented technology, is inspired by the Perseid meteoric swarm streaking across the night sky. The dial impresses with its gradation and the smooth, thick, transparent coating on its surface, which creates the impression of the vast depths of space on a dark background.

The top M model of the Contemporary collection offers a power reserve of up to 60 hours thanks to the F8N64 calibre used. The higher power reserve has been achieved thanks to the newly developed silicon stepping wheel, which is lighter and processed with greater precision, increasing the efficiency of the power transmission. Its vivid blue colour (Orient has patented the process) and unique spiral shape evoke the vastness of the universe. As we adapt to new ways of working and the boundaries between our professional and leisure time continue to blur, our requirements for watches are changing. The Orient Star RE-BX0009B is neither too formal nor too casual, featuring a modern and stylish design. What is self-evident for the watch is the excellent quality and meticulous craftsmanship that is synonymous with the ORIENT STAR brand.

The watch stands out for its level of craftsmanship, unmistakable design, lines and details of the case and dial. The case of the Orient RE-BX0009B00B watch is made of steel, its surface is treated with a special Sallaz polishing method, which is also otherwise known as black polishing, because the polished surface is so perfectly smooth that it appears black from a certain angle. Inside it, we find an Orient F8N64 mechanical movement with a power reserve of 60 hours and a high precision of +15 to -5 s/day. This movement also has a date function, a stopping of the seconds hand when the watch is set (called hacking) and an interesting complication is the winding reserve indicator at the 12 o'clock position. The movement, operating at a frequency of 21,600 half-beats/hour, can also be observed thanks to the transparent dial. It surprises with its fine mother-of-pearl, blued screws and a rotor decorated with Geneva stripes. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal.

The unusual dial, for which the effect of shooting stars in the dark night sky was achieved by a patented technology of multi-layered metal nanoparticle deposition, is protected by a sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating. Apart from the special dial, the watch also delights with details in the form of a blued seconds hand, hand-applied indices, a signed crown, a view of the movement through an open caseback, and the case treatment and transitions of polished and brushed surfaces. The water resistance of this model is 100 m, so you can even swim with the watch. The watch comes on a sophisticated steel bracelet with a fold-over clasp. The 40 mm case diameter makes the watch a great everyday choice.
