The Orient Star RE-AT0021L is a limited edition watch belonging to the Contemporary series. Its features make it an ideal piece for everyday wear, but its elegant appearance also makes it suitable for company.

Orient Star presents models from the Keshiki series, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the Japanese landscape. The limited editions are particularly striking with their new dials inspired by the winter landscape and the light reflecting off the snow-covered ground, gently illuminating the surroundings. Blue is also the colour of the sky and the sea, connecting the world and representing the brand's wish for its watches to be worn by people all over the world. A total of three models were produced in this special version. They all have blue-grey dials with a colour gradient that evokes the subtle contrast of light and shadow seen in a calm, snowy winter landscape. The calm flow of time in this picturesque scene gives the watch a poetic atmosphere. The dial is complemented by the rose-gold Orient Star logo, representing light snowflakes floating down from the sky.

The case of the OrientRE-AT0021L00B is made of stainless steel and inside it we find the Orient F6R42 mechanical movement, which is equipped with an automatic winding and a power reserve of 50 hours. This movement also features a stopping of the second hand when the watch is set (hacking) and an interesting complication is the winding reserve indicator at the 12 o'clock position. Many will be pleased to see the movement's flywheel at the 9 o'clock position, the so-called "open heart". The movement, operating at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies/hour, can be observed thanks to the open caseback.

The simple, perfectly clear dial in blue-grey is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Among the details, the embossed indices at the hour positions or the dauphine hands are pleasing. Better legibility in low light conditions is ensured by the application of luminescence on the hands and hour points. The water resistance of this model is 100 m, so the watch does not need to be removed when showering or swimming. The watch comes on a steel bracelet with a fold-over clasp. With a case diameter of 39.3 mm, the watch is one of the smaller ones.
