The Orient Star Classic RE-ND0022L Keshiki Limited Edition watch offers a clean and elegant design that makes it a suitable accessory to a dress or suit.
Orient Star presents models from the Keshiki series, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the Japanese landscape. The limited editions are particularly striking with their new dials inspired by the winter landscape and the light reflecting off the snowy ground, gently illuminating the surroundings. Blue is also the colour of the sky and the sea, connecting the world and representing the brand's wish for its watches to be worn by people all over the world. A total of three models were produced in this special version. They all have blue-grey dials with a subtle colour gradient that evokes the subtle contrast of light and shadow that can be observed in a calm, snowy winter landscape. The calm flow of time in this picturesque scene gives the watches a poetic atmosphere. The dial is complemented by the rose-gold Orient Star logo, representing light snowflakes floating down from the sky.
The case of the Orient Star RE-ND0022L00B is made of stainless steel with rose-gold elements (crown, hands) and inside it we find a mechanical movement of Orient 55C22 manufacture. This self-winding movement offers a power reserve of around 40 hours. Of course, there is a function to stop the second hand when setting the time (hacking). Many will be pleased to see the movement's flywheel at the 9 o'clock position, the so-called "open heart". The movement, operating at a frequency of 21,600 half-beats/hour, can be observed thanks to the open caseback.
The simple, timeless, perfectly clear blue-grey transitional dial is protected by a slightly domed mineral crystal. The watch delights with its details, which include delicate rose-gold hands, a shape-interesting signed crown, Roman numerals at the hour positions, and a domed glass effect. The watch is not lacking in overall fineness of detail and exceptional quality of workmanship. The versatility of the watch is enhanced by the supplied steel bracelet finished with a butterfly clasp. The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain, hand washing. Its specific look and 30.5mm case diameter make it a great choice for an elegant ladies' watch.
