Orient celebrates 70 years of the brand with the Retro Future Camera RA-AR0201B. The watch is a reinterpretation of the successful Orient Star models from 2005.

The Orient Retro Future Camera is reminiscent of a model from the Orient Star family, specifically the Retro Future collection from 2005, which was inspired by cameras from the 1950s The combination of modern and retro elements led to the creation of a truly unique watch.
The reissue, like its predecessor, is characterised by its dial, the central motif of which is the aperture of the camera lens, and a lunette inspired by the aperture ring on the lens. There is also a crown with a special protective case, which was also inspired by part of the camera body, specifically the film rewind mechanism. The Orient Retro Future Camera comes in several colors: black, brown, green and gold (limited edition).

The case of the Orient Retro Future Camera RA-AR0201B is made of stainless steel and houses an Orient F6S22 mechanical movement with automatic winding. The movement has 22 jewels, the frequency of operation is 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour and the winding power reserve is around 40 hours. This movement also has a stop second hand when setting the watch (hacking) and a manual winding option.
The unusual yet clear chronograph dial is protected by a mineral glass. A rotating lunette with minute markings can be used to measure time periods. Many will be interested in the view of the flywheel at the 9 o'clock position (open heart). The luminescence used on the hands and hour positions ensures easier legibility in low light conditions. The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can withstand contact with water during hand washing, rain and even the occasional shower. The Orient RA-AR0201B30B comes on a steel bracelet and is a medium-sized watch thanks to the 40.8 mm case diameter.
