The new Autochron stands out with its elegant design, advanced technical features and above all its unique design.The dial is truly striking and original and deserves a closer and deeper look to fully appreciate its exceptional beauty: textured matte black background; two embossed sub-dials (minutes and seconds) in grey-brown with a hint of khaki, located at 12 and 9 o'clock. The tachymetric scale around the dial adds a sophisticated touch to the watch. The pointed indices, enhanced with white Super-LumiNova® and white or yellow dots, underline the sophistication of the design. Likewise, the hands, also filled with yellow or white, reflect elegance. The distinctive white logo and Paul Newman Art Deco typography contribute to a fascinating sense of visual depth.
Another remarkable feature is the origin of the dial, designed by Jean Singer, one of the largest dial makers in Switzerland. His exotic creations, such as the Omega Speedmaster Racing and the Heuer Skipper, are among the most desirable in the watchmaking world. Autochron incorporates these successful elements in a unique style that is sure to appeal to discerning collectors.
At the heart of this watch beats the Valjoux-7750-ETA automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The 38mm diameter 316L stainless steel case is 12.7 mm thick without glass (15.7 with glass) and is protected by an arched sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating that ensures both durability and clarity. The Autochron also boasts a stunning scalloped, bi-directional aluminium lunette, accented by a white or yellow dot at 12 o'clock that makes it stand out elegantly. Water resistant to 200 metres, this watch is a stylish and practical choice for water activities.
