The Swiss Mido Multifort TV Big Date S01E02 Special Edition M049.526.33.081.01 watch will win its owners over with its unusual yet universal look and precise workmanship. It is a great companion, especially for everyday wear, but it will also serve you well in social situations. This model was made in honour of the popular model from 2000. Like the current version, it resembles a television screen in shape. However, the "TV shape" of the case appeared on Mido as early as 1973 in the Multi Star line and also in 1980 in the Commander line.
The Mido M049.526.33.081.01 has a case including the bracelet made of 316L stainless steel with PVD finish. The bracelet is fitted with quick-release clasps, making it easy to change without the aid of tools. Included in the package are 2 extra straps in yellow and blue. In the case, the Swiss mechanical movement Caliber 80 Big Date (based on ETA C07.651) with automatic winding ticks reliably. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour, has 25 jewels and, above all, an extended power reserve of 80 hours. The operation of this machine can be observed through the transparent dial. At the 12 o'clock position, we find a practical large date indicator - the so-called Big Date.
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which guarantees maximum scratch resistance. The double-sided anti-reflective coating provides perfect legibility even in bright sunlight. The water resistance of this model is 100m (10 Bar), so it can handle even greater contact with water, such as swimming. The water resistance is supported by a screw-in crown.
