The Swiss brand Maurice Lacroix is relatively young, it was founded in 1974, but today it is among the top brands. Maurice Lacroix is the author of 14 of his own movements (calibres), including the first mechanical watch with memory - Mémoire 1. For the Pontos Décentrique GMT with all indicators located off-center, the brand won the prestigious RED DOT award for best design in 2007. Another RED DOT went to the all-gold Masterpiece Squelette two years later.
