Men's Swiss Maurice Lacroix 1975 Vagues du Jura Limited Edition 756048-SS001-131-2 watches belonging to the 1975 series are characterized by their understated and elegant appearance and universal size. These features make it suitable for everyday wear as well as for company.
Founded in 1975, Maurice Lacroix is based in Saignelégier, a small village located in the heart of Franches-Montagnes. The natural beauty of the region has had a positive influence on the company's watches throughout its history. Now, to commemorate this historic milestone, Maurice Lacroix has created a limited edition model of just 200 pieces that pays tribute to its home, the verdant landscape of the Swiss canton of Jura.
The Maurice Lacroix 1975 756048-SS001-131-2 watch has a case made of stainless steel, which is complemented by a black leather strap with a fold-over clasp. Inside the case, a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding ML165 works reliably. Based on the reliable Sellita SW330-1 movement, it runs at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour and features 25 jewels. The winding reserve is up to 56 hours. The automatic winding rotor is decorated with vertical Geneva stripes (Côtes de Genève). In addition to the date display, the movement also has a GMT function in the form of a fourth hand with a red-tipped arrow. Of course, there is also a "hacking" function (stopping the seconds hand when ordered) and the possibility of manual winding with the crown.
The silver-coloured dial captures the look of rolling hills at dawn, when the landscape is shrouded in silver mist, giving the Vague du Jura motif a sense of serenity. In addition, the domed sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating highlights the richly textured surface of the dial. Although the screw-down caseback does not have a view of the movement, we find an interesting engraving of the nature of the Canton of Jura. The water resistance of this model is 50m, so it can handle basic water contact such as hand washing or showering.

The Swiss brand Maurice Lacroix is relatively young, it was founded in 1974, but today it is among the top brands.
