Zeppelin LZ 126 was the first airship usable for long-distance passenger transport. In 1924, the flight from Friedrichshafen to New York lasted only 81 hours, which was a speed record at the time. Zeppelin dedicated the new LZ 126 model line to this event, as it combines technological excellence with elegance - as was the case with its namesake. Some models of the series are equipped with a mechanical drive, but durable quartz machines predominate.
