Luminox Atacama Field 1960 Series Red Bull AMPOL Racing Limited Edition XL.1970.ARB.N. This entire series is named after the Atacama Desert in Chile, the driest place on the planet. The watch is designed to withstand such a harsh environment and also features an urban style.
Red Bull Ampol Racing (also known as Triple Eight Race Engineering) is the most successful Australian team in the Repco Supercars Championship. The team is based in Brisbane and currently races Ford Mustangs. Thanks to its partnership with the Australian oil company Ampol and the Red Bull brand, the team has already won 13 team championships and 11 driver championships. As one of the sponsors, Luminox has now created this limited edition of just 400 watches worldwide. The watch’s design draws inspiration from the single-seater’s color scheme chosen for 2026 by this legendary racing team.
The case of the Luminox Atacama Field1960 Series Red Bull AMPOL Racing model is made of Carbonox, which ensures the necessary durability while remaining lightweight. The watch weighs just 62 grams. Other features include scratch-resistant,anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The anti-reflective coating ensures readability even in bright sunlight.
With water resistance up to 100 meters, the watch can also be used for swimming and light snorkeling.The watch’s greatest feature, however, is itstritium luminescence, which ensures readability in the dark—without any external light source—for up to 25 years.

The name Luminox was created by combining the words Lumi (Latin for light) and Nox (Latin for night). The brand was founded in 1989 and offers a watch with a unique LLT technology (self-powered lighting - tritium tubes), thanks to which you can see the Luminox watch in all conditions. This was followed by orders from the US Air Force (Nighthawk Fighter Jet), elite forces and Lockheed Martin.
