The Luminox Air Pilot P-38 LIGHTNING™ GMT 9520 Series XA.9531 from the AIR collection features a classic pilot’s style. It will appeal not only to aviation enthusiasts but also to anyone looking for a clear, easy-to-read watch for everyday wear.
The watch features a stainless steel case with a black PVD coating, housing a SwissRonda 515.24H battery-powered movement. The movement features a date window at the 3 o’clock position and a second time zone indicator in the form of a fourth hand (in 24-hour format). The dial has a pilot-style design, which gives the watch excellent readability. The watch comes with a stylish leather strap.
The watch also features a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, so you don’t have to worry about the surface of the glass. This model is water-resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM), so it can handle contact with water, such as while swimming. The main advantage of this model, however, is its tritium luminescence, which ensures the watch remains legible in the dark—without any external light source—for up to 25 years.
An interesting feature of this model is its reference to the legendary P-38 Lightning aircraft from Lockheed Martin. An image of this aircraft can be found on the watch’s caseback.

The name Luminox was created by combining the words Lumi (Latin for light) and Nox (Latin for night).
