German Laco Chronographs Kiel.2.MB Schwarz watches impress at first glance with their typical pilot design, which is characterized by cleanliness and great clarity, which makes them very popular not only among watch fans.
The steel case of the Laco Kiel.2.MB Schwarz is complemented by a stainless stell bracelet with folding clasp. It is powered by a mechanical movement with Laco 500 automatic winding (based on the Sellita SW500 Elaboré - tested in 3 positions, accuracy +/- 10 s/day), offering a power reserve of around 56 hours. With a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, the machine offers a crown winding function, a stop-seconds function when setting the time(hacking), a date and day display (abbreviations of days in German) at the 3 o'clock position and a stopwatch with which up to 12-hour intervals can be measured. Many will be pleased to be able to observe the operation of the movement through a transparent caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal. The water resistance of this watch is 100 m (10 ATM), so it can handle swimming. The diameter of the case is 43 mm, the length (lug-to-lug) is 51.5 mm, so the watch fits well on most men's wrists.
The classic hallmarks of the Laco Kiel.2.MB Schwarz watch, inspired by aviation style, include distinctive and easy-to-read hands and indices at the hour positions, a distinctive diamond crown that is easy to operate even with gloves on, higher water resistance and a screw-down case. The perfectly clear dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating and high scratch resistance. Improved legibility in low-light conditions is ensured by luminescence on the hands, numerals and indices. The watch hands are thermal blue.
