Models from the Flieger Pro series allow you to customize your watch exactly to your preferences and requirements. You can choose from three case sizes— 43, 40, and 37 mm—and the case finish can be either brushed or sandblasted. The dial also offers customization options: both Type A and Type B are available, with or without a logo, and with or without a date window. For the date window, you can also choose the background color—green or white. You can also easily customize the watch by selecting the crown position (left/right) and movement type (automatic/manual and elaboré/top). For an additional fee, you can have the movement decorated and also choose a see-through case back. The sapphire crystal can be enhanced with a double-sided anti-reflective coating.

The Laco Karlsruhe Pro Grün 37 Handwinding combines modern elements with classic features from the original pilot’s watches used during World War II. The polished steel case of the Laco Flieger Pro Karlsruhe Grün 37 Handwinding, featuring curved lugs for greater comfort, is complemented by a brown leather strap with contrasting stitching and prominent rivets. The side of the case bears the marking FL23883, which was its classification number. This watch is water-resistant to 200 m(20 ATM), thanks to its screw-down crown, making it suitable for swimming. The case diameter is 37 mm, and the lug-to-lug length is 44.5 mm, so the watch fits comfortably on both men’s and women’s wrists.

Classic features of the Laco Karlsruhe Pro Grün 37 Handwinding pilot’s watch include bold, easy-to-read hands and hour markers, as well as a large crown that is easy to operate even while wearing gloves. The perfectly legible Type B dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating and high scratch resistance. The green Type B-Uhr Type B with a sunburst finish features a minute scale printed around the circumference of the dial, an arrow at the 12 o’clock position—which pilots used for quick orientation—and an hour scale printed on the inner circle. Luminescent coating on the hands, numerals, and hour markers ensures better readability in low-light conditions. The watch hands are heat-blued.

Power is provided by a Laco 210/215 manual-winding mechanical movement (based on the Sellita SW210/SW215 Elaboré—tested in three positions, accuracy ±14 s/day) with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The movement, with a frequency of 28,800 half-oscillations per hour, features a hacking function that stops the seconds hand when setting the time. The Sellita SW215 differs from the SW210 in that it includes a date function.
