The Laco Karlsruhe Pro 43 Automatic combines modern elements with classic ones from the original pilot's watches used during World War II. The sandblasted steel case of the Laco Flieger Pro Karlsruhe 43 Automatic with curved feet for comfort is complemented by a dark brown leather strap with contrast stitching and distinctive rivets. The side of the sandblasted casebears the classification number FL23883. The water resistance of this watch is 200 m ( 20 ATM), backed by a screw-down crown, so it can handle swimming. The diameter of the case is 43 mm, the length (lug-to-lug) is 50.5 mm, so the watch fits well on most men's wrists.

The classic hallmarks of the Laco Karlsruhe Pro 43 Automatic pilot's watch include the distinctive and easy-to-read hands and indices at the hour positions and the large crown, which is easy to operate even with gloves. The perfectly clear B-type dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating and high scratch resistance. The B-Uhr Type B dial features a minute scale printed around the perimeter of the dial, with an arrow at the 12 o'clock position for quick orientation for aviators and an hour scale printed on the inner circle. Luminescence, located on the hands, numerals and indices, provides better legibility in low light conditions. The hands of the watch are thermal blue.

The movement is powered by a mechanical movement with automatic winding Laco 200 Top (its base is Sellita SW200 Top - tested in 5 positions, accuracy +/- 8 s/day) with a power reserve of around 42 hours. The machine with a frequency of 28800 semi-frequencies per hour offers a stop-second function when setting the time(hacking).

The models in the Flieger Pro range offer the possibility of creating a watch to your exact specifications. Three case sizes can be chosen - 43, 40 and 37 mm, and the case surface can be brushed or sandblasted. The dial also allows for customisation, with both type A and type B available, with and without a logo, with and without a date display. For the date plate, you can also choose the colour of the backing, black and white are available. You can also easily customize the watch by choosing the position of the crown (left/right), the movement (automatic/manual and elaborate/top). You can add decoration to the movement for an extra cost and also choose a dial with a see-through bezel. The sapphire crystal can be enhanced with a double-sided anti-reflective coating.
