The German Junghans Meister Fein Chronoscope Mega Solar 59/7201.00 from the Meister series bears a legacy from the first half of the 20th century, as watches designed by the then designer Anton Ziegler were produced in a similar style between the 1930s and 1960s. It also brings a touch of modern watchmaking technology in the form of a radio-controlled movement. This model is definitely one of the most elegant radio-controlled watches in the world, and it is solar-powered to boot.

The Junghans Meister Fein Chronoscope Mega Solar 59/7201.00 is equipped with the Junghans J110 solar-powered in-house movement, which is radio-controlled, so you can rely on maximum running precision throughout its use. The radio control of this movement is multi-frequency, which means that it picks up signals on five radio transmitters located around the world (i.e. all except the Chinese transmitter). Even if you are out of signal range, the J110 achieves extremely high accuracy - specifically +/- 8s per year. Time adjustment is also possible via smartphone using the Junghans MEGA App (for Android and IOS). This movement also offers a perpetual calendar function without the need for correction up to the year 2400, even without radio signal reception. This version is enhanced with a stopwatch function. The date display is located in the sub-dial at the 12 o'clock position. The running reserve with a fully charged battery is approximately 3 years.

Another interesting feature of the Manufacture J110 is the movement of the seconds hand, which does not jump after one second, as is common with the vast majority of quartz movements, but after half a second. In addition, the position of the seconds hand is aligned (using ITC - Intelligent Time Correction technology) 1440 times per day according to the last time information received. Also unusual is the movement of the minute hand, which moves in leaps of one minute rather than the standard smooth movement.

The case of this model is made of stainless steel with a rose gold PVD finish, and its elegance is enhanced by the leather strap. The dial gives a very elegant impression thanks to the simplicity of the Bauhaus artistic style. It is protected by a sapphire crystal that is extremely scratch-resistant. The double-sided anti-reflective coating ensures excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. On the watch face we find an illustrated world map with the location of radio transmitters, according to which the watch is adjusted. Water resistance is 50 metres (5 ATM) - so the watch can withstand normal contact with water, such as rain or hand washing.
