The German Junghans Max Bill Quartz 041/4461.04 watch from the Max Bill series is popular for its clean, timeless look inspired by the Bauhaus artistic style.
The Junghans Max Bill Quartz 041/4461.04 is equipped with the battery-powered J645.33 movement, which is based on the Swiss ETA 955.112. The dial is inspired by the simplicity of the Bauhaus artistic style. The watch design was conceived for Junghans by Swiss architect, sculptor and designer Max Bill in the 1960s and has remained virtually unchanged since. It is protected by a convex plastic glass with special Sicralan protection. This provides increased protection for the glass against scratches and UV rays, while also ensuring its greater brilliance. The date display is located at the 3 o'clock position. The case with a diameter of 38 mm will also be appreciated by lovers of smaller men's watches. The water resistance of this model is 30 meters, so it can handle minimal contact with water such as rain.
Previously available as Junghans 041/4461.00, the claimed water resistance was only "Water resistant", which is a lower grade than the now claimed 30 m (3 ATM).
A version with a sapphire crystal can be supplied at an additional cost.
